Hints & Tips to Promote
Making an Affiliate link to the Gardening Guide is easy!
- You can link text passages that you write yourself (testimonials
and other richer promotions often work better than banner
ads).
- You can place a banner on your site or in email messages.
View/download banners.
- You can list the Gardenig Guide as one of the products that
you sell.
- You can list the Gardening Guide as one of your resource
links.
- Another good promotion technique is to integrate your affiliate
link in your navigation system if you can. Eg: As a button
or a text link in your menu bar, or as "My favourite
Gardening links" or some such.
Use your own words, or pick something fitting from here:
-
"Step-by-step plant care instructions
with the Monthly Gardening Guide!"
-
"Your year round gardening To-Do List!
"
- "Gardening Guide - Click here."
-
"Get a better looking garden with this
Gardening Guide!"
-
"I came across this website the other
day with a really useful Gardening Guide. Highly recommended!"
- "How to take care of your plants month by month."
etc.
Choose a method that suits the content of your site
If your site has something to do with gardening or gardening
products, a banner or something like "Gardening Guide available
here" will fit in.
If you sell products on your site, why not make the Gardening
Guide one of them? Use a book image or a CD image, or one of
the banners that I make available.
If your site is totally non-commercial and you would like it
to stay that way, you are probably better off with a line of
text that quietly points to the gardening guide. Eg:
"..... one of the best resources for my research was the
Gardening Guide
by Janine Colman DipHort, and also a book by Neville Passmore
called ....."
