Quisqualis

Common name: Rangoon Creeper

sunwater

Description

A strong growing climber and suitable for warm regions.
Large, brilliantly colored flowers, in colors of orange-rose and scarlet together, grow in bunches and make a magnificent display throughout summer and autumn.

Quisqualis are fragrant and make a good cut flower.

Growing

Full sun is required for Quisqualis. The more sun, the more flowers, and it is definitely the flowers which is why one would want to grow this plant!

Build your sandy soil up with a soil conditioner, and fertilize with an all purpose fertilizer over the warmer months of the year.

May be a little difficult to find in Perth, but is worth the effort to hunt one down.
