Description

A bulbous spring-flowering wildflower that produces large clumps of strap-like leaves 90-120 cm tall. The flower spikes are even taller, with tubular flowers in pink, salmon, red and white.

Excellent for attractive cut flowers in late spring.

Growing

The foliage dies in late summer/early autumn, which is the time for propagation by division of the bulbs. Plant in autumn, 7 cm deep and 30 cm apart.

Needs little to no attention.
